We currently have vacancies for Software Engineers. These roles will be primarily focused on taking SGD products through the RTCA 178C software development process, i.e. planning, establishment of requirements, design, development, verification and validation, together with project maintenance and wrap-up. Part of this will also be mitigating the risk on projects that require a similar embedded developer skill set but not to the same rigor (RTCA) as Airborne software.
Your role
Analyse system level requirements and translate into software high level requirements
Write test cases to evaluate high level software requirements
Write/Review other traditional V Model (RTCA 178C) documentation
Develop software source code (embedded and application level)
Verification and validation of software functionality
Participate in software integration activities including defect investigation and resolution
Perform technical leadership for small SCRUM based team
Your profile
Skills and Experience:
C/C++ Software Development
Safety Critical Software Environment
5 years software development
Experience in military environment (advantageous)
Qualification:
BEng (Computer Engineering) or BSc equivalent
Competencies:
Requirement Analysis and Writing
Embedded Operation Systems
